Dealing with grief and bereavement
Wed, 23 June 2021, 15:00 to 16:00 via Zoom
In this interactive webinar we will be taking a look at the impact of grief and bereavement, looking to understand what grief is, how it affects people differently and the ways in which we process grief.
There will be a specific focus on the care sector and the unique challenges staff face when dealing with bereavement, including things like anticipatory grief and vicarious grief.
We will also be looking at ways to help us process loss and grief, with some practical tools that can help support ourselves, and our colleagues around us.
Mental health during a pandemic
Tue, 20 July 2021, 10:00 to 11:00 via Zoom
In this session we will taking a look at the ways in which mental health has been (and continues to be) affected by the current pandemic.
This will take a look at the three key areas of anxiety, change and isolation, looking at the ways these areas affect our mental and physical wellbeing.
We will look at the neuroscience behind these impacts, and the ways in which we can work to reduce the impact, taking better care of ourselves and our wellbeing during this time.
