Workforce Capacity Fund deadline is midday on Monday 15th March 2021
Providers in Cornwall should have all received an email from Cornwall Council about how to claim the funding for the Workforce Capacity Grant, but in case you have missed this, the deadline for making your grant claim is midday on Monday 15th March 2021.
Plese email contractsadults@cornwall.gov.uk no later than midday on Monday 15th March 2021 to confirm your agreement to the conditions outlined in THIS LETTER. Once the Council have received your written acceptance, they will authorise payment of your allocation of this grant.
This Workforce Capacity Fund is a short-term grant from DHSC which must be used to deliver additional staffing capacity. The funding is intended to extend existing activities or fund new activities to increase workforce capacity within adult social care.
The grant cannot support activity that has already been funded by the Infection Control Fund or other sources of public funding.
Further guidance is available on the Government website. You can back-date any spend in relation to the measures outlined in this grant to 16th January 2021 and all of the money allocated to you must be spent by the 31st March 2021.
The Department of Health and Social Care grant conditions reserve the right to claim money back from the Council; therefore your help with taking up this offer is greatly appreciated as it will ensure we have the best possible access to the grant funding for Cornwall.
It is a stipulation of the Workforce Capacity Fund Grant terms that Providers must provide the local authority with information on how you have spent the funding. Therefore you will need to provide this information by way of a survey which will be sent to you and require completion by 14 April 2021.
